How to find yours or your Bestie's ring size:
Borrow (The most accurate option):
- Take a ring they already wear to a jewelers for it to be sized.
Use your own finger:
- This is about 98% accurate but there's room for error so make sure you measure correctly. Slide a ring that they already wear onto your own 'ring finger' and mark with a pen where it gets stuck. Take it to a jeweler and you'll get a very close size.
- Use the above method and the point on your finger where you made a mark, take a tape measure and measure the circumference. Then compare that measurement with the chart above (using the Inside Diameter column)
Guess it (not as crazy as it sounds but there is room for error!):
- Fingers are proportionate to body type so, If your partner is petite, it’s likely that their hands are smaller and slender, start at a US size 4 - 4.5 or UK size H or I for women
- If they’re more average in height, chances are they have an average finger size too. An average finger size is US 6-6.5 or UK Size L½ for women.
- If your partner is above average height or build, start at around a ring US size 7 or UK N for a woman.
